Early this month, my family went to The Olde Station Kopitiam for a teatime. That was the second time I ate there. I do not have much interest to go but was persuaded by my family members.
Ambience : Hot and Noisy
Food Taste : 5 / 10 (I only tasted the few items but I shall return for the drink)
Waiting Time : Fast
Price : Expensive for such food quality but regular price for such places.
I saw that a lot of people ordered the noodles. Those dishes with noodles must be tasted real good as the shop were full house and almost every table ordered dishes with noodles. However, we just had our lunch thus we decided to go for their "kuih-muih" (local pastries or cakes), which I think was a bad decision.
The food that we ordered are :-
1) Ham Chin Peng With Red Bean Paste - not bad but nothing special, you can get that kind of test everywhere.
2) Pulut Udang - The glutinous rice not fully cooked yet, still can bite a few grains of hard glutinous rice. I can get a better one in other place.
3) Put Chai Kou (Red bean) - Too sweet!
Although the food does not interest me, I love their drinks. So tasty. We ordered dark chocolate. it was cold, very suitable to drink during teatime, creamy when you mix it with the ice cream and not too sweet, I can really taste their chocolate. I definitely return for the drink again.
