Dinner at Mosaic, Hyatt

My Sis inlaw's dad invited us to a dinner at Mosaic, Hyatt, Kota Kinabalu. It was quite a good dinner but of cause pricy. What I love the most is the ice cream, especially the chocolate ice cream, creamy and not that sweet. I ordered the salmon, nothing to shout about though. But I would like to try their wagyu beed burger next time.

They served us bread as a starter. I believe the bread were lightly toasted and they served it with butter. Next came the Wagyu burger, however, I did not manage to eat it.

I ordered vanilla milkshake but it was bland. Does not worth the money though.
The Salmon were grilled way too dry. I do like their side dishes though. The portion is just right.

Another order made were the steak and pizza. I did not try the beef but I love the pizza. It has generous amount of cheese and pineapple. The crust was thin and crispy.

They have a great selection of ice cream. There were pistachio, peppermint, green tea and others. What I love the most is Chocolate. It was not sweet at all and creamy.

Yummy Breakfast (Burgers)

Suddenly I feel like making something fatty and simple to cook for my breakfast. I bought A1 chicken patties from Giant and cost less than RM 5. I get some good buns from my aunt (she making lots of it).

Ingredients:

Burger buns (I left them overnight in the freezer)
Chicken patties
Slices of Cheddar cheese (one to mix with eggs one for burger)
Chicken sausage (cut into small dices to be mixed with eggs)
Eggs
Lettuce
Butter
Mustard
Tomato sauce

I was unable to take picture of the cooking steps this time. First I slapped a generous of butter on the burger buns. And put the surface with butter on the non stick pan and swirl them around till the surface turned yellowish, however, I prefer a crispy one, thus, swirl them longer until the side was slightly burned. After that turned to another surface and swirl awhile.

Later, I put the chicken patties that I bought onto the pan and cooked them till they were ready. Using the oil that dripped out from the chicken patties I made omelet and fried eggs. To make the fried eggs, I cracked the eggs out from its shell into the pan and spread the yolk over the white. A minute later, put a cooked patty onto the egg and wrapped it around. As for the omelet, I mix the eggs with the diced sausages and generous cheddar cheese and cook it over the pan.

Arranged the cooked items based on what you like and top with sauces you like.
